Welcome to the website of Praktijk Delflandplein. We are a primary care practice. The family doctors and owners are T.M Kruse-Obbens and T.B. Hensgens. We are affiliated with VUmc (Vrije Universteit Medisch Centrum) as a teaching facility for residents. We offer the full range of Dutch primary care. In the links below you will find all relevant information about our practice. For medical questions or extra information, please see https://www.gpinfo.nl/
Help the GP is drowning!
You must have noticed that, when you’re trying to call us, it’s very busy on the phone. Especially Monday mornings. There’re many people that need help. That’s okay, that’s what we’re here for.
We also get called for things that don’t belong to the GP. For instance about declarations/reimbursements or delivery of medication: this belongs to the pharmacist of your health insurance company. Also about complications after a treatment done by a specialist in the hospital of repeat medication that was indicated bij a specialist in the hospital where one still comes (even if this is after 1 year): these questions and requests belong to the hospital, not us. Notes/declarations for trips of school etc we don’t write as your doctor. (also see https://www.knmg.nl/download/why-is-your-own-gp-not-authorised-to-issue-a-medical-certificate-geneeskundige-verklaring-engels
At www.verwijsafspraken.nl you can find many more examples from questions that don’t belong to your GP but will be asked to the GP. If you have a question and you’re not sure where to ask, please check this website. Also at www.moetiknaardedokter.nl and www.thuisarts.nl there’s lots of information to be found.
You can make digital contact with our office by logging into www.mijngezondheid.net using your DigiD. You can make appointments, request repeat prescriptions, e-mail us and see information about your medical file; the so called ‘E’ and ‘P’- line. We need to know your email address and your mobile telephone number to be able to make the link between your medical file, our agenda and the secure website. There is also the MedGemak-app that you can use once you are registered to mijngezondheid.net.
We are closed again for new registrations for patients, after being overwhelmed the last days with new registrations. Check out our website to see when we’re open again. This will be regularly evaluated. There’s no need to call us. When we’re open, we only accept patients that live in the following streets: Carnapstraat, Delflandlaan, Delflandplein, De Lierhof, Fregelaan, Heemstedestraat, Hoek v Hollandstraat, Honselersdijkstraat, Koningin Wilhelminaplein, Kwintsheulstraat, Loosduinenstraat, Maassluisstraat, Naaldwijkstraat, Overschiestraat, Poeldijkstraat, Rijswijkstraat, Rodenrijsstraat, Voorburgstraat en Wittgensteinlaan.
If you want to make an appointment, please CALL US (don’t swing by!) and the assistant will help you. There will always be asked for the reason that you call and the assistant will also perform a so called triage. This means that you’re being asked several important questions so the medical (!) urgency can be identified and if a visit to the doctor is necessary or that advise is sufficient. Unfortunately it’s very bysy on the phone. When you have a non-urgent question, you can also send an e-mail through MGN (never through info-praktijk@praktijkdelflandplein.nl, this is not for medical questions or repeat medication and will not be read nor answered by our assistent). We normaly answer an e-consultation through MGN within 2 working days.
Through MGN it is also possible to make an appointment with one of the doctors or with an assistent. E-consultations and repeat medication are also functional in MGN and it is very helpful to us when you use them, since the waiting time on the phone has increased ever since Corona started and since we have a lack of assistants.
